On 8 November 2019, Pascal Goderniaux and Mathilde Guillaume from the University of Mons, Belgium, visited the INOWAS group at TU Dresden, Germany. The scope of the one-day visit was to advance the project agenda with regard to the use of the INOWAS platform for modelling the effects of MAR on the groundwater system in Recife, Brazil. Ralf Junghanns, Jana Glass and Catalin Stefan (INOWAS group) discussed with the Belgian colleagues about the setup of the numerical groundwater model in Recife and its implementation on the INOWAS platform, as well as about the development of the citizens’ science portal. The meeting was very effective and useful for shaping the next steps in the project agenda.
